Telenursing Service DialNurse Opens Network of On-demand Medical Consultation to Business Community

Company expands beyond consumer offering; joins Phoenix Chamber of Commerce as premier member

PHOENIX, Ariz., September 16, 2013 – On the heels of the successful launch of its unique on-demand telehealth and mhealth (mobile health) services for everyday consumers, DialNurse today announced the expansion of its offering to include private and public enterprises seeking ways to incorporate this form of medical consultation as a central element of healthcare benefits to employees. Companies making use of telehealth and mhealth services benefit from a reduction of costs and a return on investment of 250 – 350% as a direct result of reduced emergency admissions and reduced physician office costs according to data from the Society of Actuaries.

“The overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve received from our consumer customers indicated that the time was right to extend the benefits of Amerivitals services to the business community,” said Gunjan Goel, Co-founder & CEO of DialNurse. “During this critical period of healthcare reform, DialNurse is helping the medical infrastructure in the U.S. by addressing the not so urgent cases, thereby reducing the crowding in emergency rooms and doctor’s offices. Businesses using this proven service realize direct savings while providing convenient healthcare options for their employees or constituents.”

DialNurse utilizes licensed and registered nurses to provide 24x7x365 medical consultation in both English and Spanish for a flat fee, often less than an insurance co-pay.  People who have high deductible healthcare plans, have no medical insurance, are living in remote areas of the U.S. or simply want medical consultation anonymously, benefit from the company’s services. The nurses have already handled over 5,000,000 calls, have an average experience of 12 years and are based in the U.S.

To broaden its reach and connections in the business community, DialNurse recently joined the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce as a premier member. Becoming a part of the most respected, collaborative and influential member-driven business association in Arizona will provide DialNurse with a greater ability to educate Chamber members on the benefits of telenursing and become a resource for conversations regarding the impact technology has on improving healthcare delivery.

“DialNurse plays a critical role in solving challenges our members face as they implement healthcare reform,” said Todd Sanders, president & CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. “We’re honored to have DialNurse as a new premier member and look forward to helping it keep the community informed on solutions to the rising costs of healthcare.”
