Sun Burn

SUNBURN- Ouch!!! you just spent nice day hiking or at the beach and you realize at the end of the day that your skin is red and tender to touch. Sun emits ray which causes sunburn, even on a cloudy day you can get sun burns. Once you have sun burn you need to treat it. There are a lot of products out there to treat sunburn but some of the home remedies can be powerful as well.


a. Apply pure Aloevera gel or coconut oil or lavender oil at regular intervals.
b. Ice cold towels on skin can bring down skin temperature as well.
c. Cool bath with aloe vera, oatmeal and baking soda will help.
d. Topical application of plain yoghurt, cucumber or potato calms skins down.
e. Last but not least, prevention is best . Apply sunscreen always.
Call a doctor if blisters occur. Sunburn does not start to get better in couple of days, develop fever, nausea etc.
